Poconos Marathon

The Pocono Mountain Run for the Red is good for the heart. What could be better? Exercise and lend a helping hand. The Pocono Mountain Run For the Red is a 26.2 mile marathon put in place to support the local chapter for the American Red Cross. The journey begins at Clear Run Elementary School with a view of the picturesque Pocono Mountains. Transportation to the start is available as well as opportunities to hydrate and meals at the start and finish. A $1,000 prize is awarded for the first place male and female. A $500 prize is awarded to the
second place male and female. A$250 prize will be awarded to the third place male and female. Sign-up online or by phone, discounts are available for those who register early. Special rates are also available at local accommodations. Let’s make strides and support the efforts of the local Red Cross.
